Ticket price valid for both the archaeological site of Delphi and the Archaeological Museum of Delphi

  • Full: €12
  • Reduced: €6 valid for non-EU (European Union) citizens under 25 y/o + EU (European Union) seniors over 65 y/o
  • Free ticket valid for EU (European Union) citizens under 25 y/o
  • Special Ticket price: €6 from 01/11/2022 to 31/03/2023

IDs or passports are required for all guests under 25 years of age to ensure their birth date at the entrance of the site.

Best time to visit Delphi

Spring: March – May: The temperatures during the day are very mellow and comfortable, making this period an ideal time to visit Delphi. Early March may see some snow on the mountains but it’s not common. During April, the temperature sees average highs of 18 degree Celsius and the flowers are blooming at the same time. This is the best time to visit Delphi. 

Summer: Summer in Greece is hot and during June – August the temperatures can be quite hot during the day. In July the temperature is peaking between 31-35 degree Celsius.

Autumn: September –October: Temperatures are similar to springtime so it’s an ideal period to visit Delphi.

Winter: December – February: Temperatures during winter time vary and can reach lows of 0 degree Celsius but can get as high as 11 degrees. Winter also sees the rainiest weather.
